This is the full Japanese kanji list: all 2136 jōyō kanji — the characters taught in Japanese schools and used in newspapers — each with its English meanings, its on and kun readings, and the number of strokes it takes to write.

Every kanji has its own page with animated stroke order you can replay as many times as you like, a stroke-by-stroke strip, and example words with furigana and translations.

The list is grouped by JLPT level, from N5 to N1, so you can study in the order the exams expect. If you know how a character looks but not how it is read, draw it by hand and the handwriting search will find it.
